Existence

"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being." - Carl Jung

All of us experience doubt and worries in any moment of our life. Even though we have so many reasons to feel confident and hopeful, there are “natural” factors that will sometimes cause fear and uncertainties in our hearts. This is how I see it; we need to look at different dimensions to analyze the patterns and put things in balance – these are the things that we want to explore in these times of contemplation while we breathe with gratitude for all the living spirits that roam with us and give inspiration and support in any way in this time and space.

For the past few months (from January to April), of course we have been busy with different things related to gardening and other personal matters. There were many productive things happened and our heads were floating in the cloud. Some of the tasks we've accomplished were:

1. Growing and transplanting of passion fruit, sunflower, cayenne pepper, bell pepper, tomato, eggplant, corn, ginger, onion chives, string beans, okra, sugar peas, oregano and other strong herbs for the insects not to invade easily
2. Building the temporary fence made of bamboo
3. Collected few containers for the indoor gardening project
4. Prepared a compost from cow dung and other organic materials
5. Managed the weeds in a natural way and many more...

Onion Chives. Okra. Calypso Pop Corn. Passion fruit.

In the midst of various crisis happening around the world today, our will to move on must remain strong and crucial. These are the most important times in this one huge mysterium-filled density called life. I believe that we are here to witness the suffering and joys but at the same time to take part in healing the wounds and removing the trauma in our collective psyche for our social and spiritual "sanity" or equilibrium. As I have observed, the factors that prevent other people from participating in the project are quite multi-faceted. It is heavily influenced by "unsane" cultural and socio-economic aspects. In a larger picture, through these commercially-dominated institutions, society are virtually confined and deprived on a day-to-day basis in terms of knowledge, imagination, time, choices, movement, etc.. These psychological memes along with norms and dogmas are re-enforcing the bricks that support the structure of the mainstream unsustainable mindset while at the same time stopping us from participating in the real (not democratic/bureaucratic) affair of our lives.

“A healthy social life is found only, when in the mirror of each soul the whole community finds its reflection, and when in the whole community the virtue of each one is living.” - Rudolf Steiner
